The head  of Northbridge International School in Cambodia, Mr. David Eaton and his spouse, Mrs. Diane Eaton who was responsible for the school library, the assesments and the "Special Needs". Laura went every morning before school started to Mrs. Eaton to, officially, polish up her English but actually just went there to catch up with the latest gossip. On the left is Gisela, the teacher of the Nederlandse School in Phnom Penh (SNOPP), taking a bite of a sandwich.

Peter and Dee, married but not to each other, person the Education Section at UNICEF. Peter  and family moved in our house when we left for Bangkok. Kees explains one more time what needs to be done in Cambodia in general and in the area of education in particular.
Lut en Wim (resp middle and left), a Belgian medical couple and the parents of one of Laura's  best friends: Melanie. Wim works as medical coordinator for Artsen Zonder Grenzen (Doctors without Borders) and Lut works in the Sihanouk Hospital, a general hospital for the poor. On the Righ Gisela again, who doubles in Phnom Penh as the Dutch Teacher, but also as guitar taecher of Laura and others.
