This summer Minke and her friends from university, Sonja, Stans en Anne-Mieke, celebrated their 40 years of friendship with bubbles and food. Though not every time on photo, we managed to meet and catch up every year in the past 40 year. Minke made a little booklet with pictures spanning all these years for each of them.

In May Minke celebrated her birthday, for the last time in the St Andrews school with the kids. After consultation with the kids the theme of the party became, obviously, superheroes and prinsesses.

We took our Mk2 and little caravan to the picknick event of the Jaguar Daimler Club Holland. Always convenient to have a kitchen with you for lunch. The geranium in the window is essential, where else could we be sitting behind when retired?

We celebrated Happy New Year at Vong Duang beach on Koh Samed together with Minke's 89 year oldge mother and Laura and Oliver. Laura en Oliver brought champagne to celebrate in the tropical sun that we are together with the family and to cheers to a happy and healthy 2017.
